Antique Italian Majolica
Antique Italian (or quite possibly French)
Majolica Vase
It measures 6 1/2" high.
5 1/4" in diameter across the top.
3 3/4" diameter across the bottom.
There is a considerable amount of crazing on the inside.
And what appears to be a mark that looks like a Z on the bottom.
This piece was handed down to my friend by her French Grandmother.
It is a substantial piece of pottery, weighing approx. 2 lbs.
The detail and color on this piece is exquisite.

Glass Cloche
The oval shape and beaded silver handle make this glass cloche quite unusual.
The glass is thick and substantial weighing in at 3 lbs.
It measures 10" long x 8" wide and is 8" to the top of the handle.
I've paired it with several of my ironstone platters for serving food as well as to display many of my cherished treasures.
I love its resemblance to the silver food domes but with the transparency of the glass.
I've not seen one like it which makes it kind of hard to part with.

French Inspired Butter Dish
Hand made and signed by Laguna Beach artist, Doreen Mellen, is this utterly charming 2 piece butter dish.
Although it has buerre written on the lid, it could be used for cheese or even to store garlic and shallots on the kitchen counter.
A lovely addition to your kitchen larder.
The bottom measures 5 1/2" wide by 4" deep and 3 1/2" high.
The lid is larger and made to overhang.
