Your Treasure

Il Tuo Tesoro means "Your Treasure" in Italian.

I've decided to start a companion blog to have a place to sell the treasures that I find and blog about on La Dolfina.

I had already picked the name when I happened to click over to one of my favorite blogs, Lisa Golightly, and saw her post featuring an etsy artist named Sarah.  My heart skipped a beat when I laid eyes on the unique collages that Lisa was featuring on her blog that day.  I clicked over to Sarah's etsy shop, The Charm School Dropout, and was immediately drawn to her collage titled, " The Green One Piece" which is now the fabulous banner for Il Tuo Tesoro!

I think this amazing image is the perfect match to La Dolfina's life preserver.  Thank you Sarah for graciously allowing me to use your wonderful collage as the banner for Il Tuo Tesoro.

It's perfect!

I've been pondering for months now the best way to sell my treasures and after much thought and research I've decided to follow in the footsteps of some fabulous fellow bloggers like Pink Wallpaper and Savvy City Farmer.

Shannon Darby is the talented interior designer and super mom behind the wildly popular blog, Pink Wallpaper.  She also has a successful companion blog, The Designer's Attic, where she sells surplus designer fabrics and the occasional accessory from Shannon Darby Design.  I love the one-two punch of fabulous inspiration and eye candy at Pink Wallpaper coupled with the excitement of snagging an incredible deal over at The Designer's Attic!

Another fabulous blogger and friend of mine is Joy Waltmire, the Savvy City Farmer.  She also has a companion blog, Stuff In The Burbs, where she sells her fabulous finds and one of kind creations.  I've been following Joy on her treasure hunting adventures and lusting after her scores from the day I stumbled on her blog several months ago.  She has been a huge influence and inspiration for me!

I have decided to kick off my new blog, Il Tuo Tesoro with a Giveaway.  I've chosen a beautiful antique footed pressed glass pedestal with an unusual blue monogram.

The glass top measures 8.5" across and is quite heavy.

It looks to be French with the silver rosette and unusual blue monogram.

It stands 5" high

and is stunning in person!

To enter you must be a follower of both La Dolfina and Il Tuo Tesoro.  Just leave me a comment and if you blog or tweet about it I will enter your name twice!  I will choose a winner on the Fourth of July!

Good Luck and Thank you for your support!

It is going to be a little sad once all the treasures start leaving our home, but maybe you can find that cool green swim suit in your banner, and all will be forgiven.

OMG am I too late! I love this plate and think that the monogram says 'I' and 'O' which are the initials of my children - Isabella and Oscar.

I hope my name can be put in the hat, and my fingers are crossed.

Am a follower of both your wonderful blogs and love the fact that you are starting this second one. How exciting to follow the development of this new blog and to see all your treasures.

Good luck with it all!

x Charlotta
